If your child or grandchild is an Illinois resident and selects an Illinois public university or community college, we pay 100 percent of tuition and mandatory fees for as many 529 prepaid plan semesters as you have pre-purchased — no matter how high tuition and fees might have climbed since your date of purchase.
What about private Illinois colleges and out-of-state colleges? If chosen, College Illinois! 529 Prepaid Tuition Program will pay the mean-weighted average of tuition and fees at comparable public universities or community colleges in Illinois.
